Student Assistant handling offshore wind forecasting and modelling tasks

Join us in this role where you’ll be performing activities revolving around long sighted renewable energies market. Your tasks will include supporting long-term offshore wind forecasting process, incl. collecting and maintaining data, drafting presentations, and participating in developing intel tools.

You’ll be part of the Offshore Wind and LCoE forecasting team where you, together with your colleagues, will monitor and analyse industry dynamics and trends to prognose future long-term developments and feed these insights into relevant decision fora.
As a team, we contribute to upholding a professional, yet sociable and friendly work environment. The team consists of 4 colleagues and is part of a wider department with 17 economists and engineers in total organized into several forecasting teams.
You’ll play an important role in:
- collecting and monitoring relevant information and data to build knowledge about markets, projects, tenders, etc.
- performing fact finding and analyses supporting strategic decision-making
- maintaining internal database, validating collected data, and assisting internal customers with data reports and insights
- actively participating in and contributing to further development of modelling tools
- developing clear and cohesive presentations based on market analysis, processes, etc.
- continuously maintaining contact to relevant stakeholders and input providers.
To succeed in the role, you:
- are currently on the last year of your bachelor’s or starting your master’s degree in business, economics, engineering, or similar
- are well organised, analytical, and aware of the importance of clear communication, oral as well as written, and speak and write English fluently
- are able to build up an objective argument and find evidence to support it
- have a proactive mindset and dare to take responsibility
- can balance both continuous everyday tasks and focused ad-hoc analytical assignments in a high-paced environment
- are an experienced user of PowerPoint and Excel.
