Product Management Coach

Join us in this role where you’ll you will take your passion for Product Management to empower people in Ørsted to create impactful products addressing business and user needs. You will help develop the product management discipline in a way that helps product organizations and teams to set and deliver on their strategy through iterative discovery, delivery, and validation of product adoption and impact. Based on your previous experience as a product person you will bring a good understanding of what it takes to deliver great products, while your key skills lie within product strategy, product metrics, and outcome roadmaps.

You’ll be part of Agile, Product Management and Design Centre of Excellence (CoE) where you, together with your colleagues, will mature the product management discipline. To do so, you will collaborate with colleagues across the organisation to enable teams to deliver products that are valuable, viable, usable and feasible.

As a team, we we are driven by the outcomes we help our colleagues to achieve, and we take an experimental, collaborative approach to solving the needs and problems of our internal customers towards shared business

You’ll play an important role in:

  • Coaching product teams to set product strategy and outcome-based goals, as well as hypothesis-driven discovery, delivery, and product adoption
  • Experimenting with our users on our product management model to learn how we best support the organisation
  • Growing active networks and communities for product management for knowledge to flow and to accelerate PM capabilities for our product people
  • Tying together agile, design, architectural, and user-centric methodologies and processes to support product teams, maturing their skills and the mindset of innovative product development
  • Conducting product management training sessions and workshops, underpinning the upskilling journey of the organization
  • Collaborating with agile, design, and product management leads to ensure a holistic approach to product development.

To succeed in the role, you:

  • Have 3+ years of hands-on experience as a product owner or a product manager, and perhaps also as a product management coach
  • Know how to work with outcome-based product roadmaps and have experience driving alignment through issues or opportunities rather than feature plans
  • Have a solid understanding of how to work with product strategy across strategic, tactical, and operational horizons
  • Have a solid experience with setting product objectives and metrics
  • Are a collaborative, pragmatic person who can easily switch between the abstract framework modelling and hands-on coaching
  • Are skilled in complex problem-solving, translating complexity into holistic frameworks and principles.
