Senior Process Specialist / Team Lead

The projects span from exploring innovative solutions for transportation of CO2 to safe decommissioning of assets no longer in use. You’ll be part of the Technology team where you, together with your colleagues from different engineering disciplines, will support the organisation with your process engineering skills in the projects and daily operations. Our project portfolio includes feasibility studies regarding repurposing of our existing assets to CO2 transportation via pipelines to offshore oil fields in the North Sea. You’ll also work on other projects, including decommissioning and green transformation initiatives. Your role as a process specialist will focus on flow assurance, corrosion, pipeline and process operations, and risk handling related to oil and gas activities. As a team, we foster collaboration and innovation. You’ll play an important role in:
- using your technical skills to ensure that our onshore process plants and offshore pipelines are designed, constructed, and modified for safe and efficient transportation of oil, gas, and potentially CO2
- Leading IA Technology technically, starting new initiatives and potentially also as line manager inspire your colleagues and lead the way forward in close collaboration with the management team
- driving the projects in your own technical area, covering process simulation (Unisim), pipeline transportation, corrosion assessment, operational procedures, and risk assessment
- preparing in-depth technical input to the project management team to ensure progress on the projects you’ll be assigned to
- collaborating with cross-functional teams to optimise processes
- analysing data to identify opportunities for efficiency gains.
To succeed in the role, you:
- have a degree in engineering or equivalent and have proven experience in oil and gas or other related fields
- have in-depth knowledge in some of the following technical disciplines: corrosion mechanisms, flow assurance, thermodynamics, risk assessment, or offshore operations
- are a team player who thrives on solving complex and abstract problems together with your business partners and have a high focus on safety
- possess strong analytical and problem-solving skills and are familiar with process improvement methodologies
- can work independently in your responsibility area, mentor junior engineers and foster a culture of knowledge sharing
- speak and write English fluently and demonstrate excellent communication skills alongside with collaboration abilities enabling you to report and present project progress and results in an international environment. Danish skills are an advantage but not a requirement.
