Sales and energy trading

Key Account Manager for Denmark & Sweden

Imagine a future where you advise companies on the energy markets and sell energy contracts to new and existing B2B customers in Denmark and Sweden

Join us in this role where you’ll use your deep insight in the energy sector in both Denmark and Sweden to sell energy contracts to large B2B customers. Working from our office in Gentofte or Malmö, you’ll get a unique opportunity to drive new business initiatives and renegotiate energy contracts with existing customers.

Welcome to Ørsted B2B Sales & Marketing
You’ll be part of Key Accounts where you, together with your colleagues, will renegotiate existing energy contracts and reach out to new potential customers in our key account segment. You’ll work in an exciting position with competent and passionate colleagues and be part of one of the world's most sustainable energy companies with a vision of creating a world that runs entirely on green energy. We’re a team of dedicated colleagues who value an open, honest, and informal tone. We advise and help Danish and Swedish companies with energy procurement and together we create solid results.

You’ll play an important role in:

  • driving sales activities with colleagues in Key Account Management, where you’ll plan your own workday, visit existing customers, and seek out new customers in both Denmark and Sweden
  • being responsible for a portfolio of existing customers in Sweden where you’ll build strong customer relationships and collaboration and renegotiate energy contracts for gas, biogas, and portfolio management
  • planning, seeking out, and executing sales activities targeted at new customers in collaboration with the key account management team as well as the marketing and business development teams
  • interacting with external stakeholders such as energy brokers in Denmark and Sweden and internal stakeholders in Ørsted, as well as actively contributing to knowledge sharing in team meetings.

To succeed in the role, you:

  • have solid experience with sales and outreach sales, preferably from the energy industry, and preferably from both Denmark and Sweden
  • have insights in the power and gas markets in Denmark and the gas and biogas market in Sweden
  • are independent, self-driven, proactive, and find it easy to build positive relationships internally and externally
  • have a strong commercial and result-oriented mindset, a relevant educational background, and sales experience, preferably from a similar role in a large company, and have experience with managing an existing customer portfolio and pipeline management in a CRM system (we use Salesforce)
  • are ambitious, have a constructive and positive attitude, a contagious commitment, a high drive, and a structured approach to your work
  • have a driver's license and can communicate in Danish, Swedish, and English.

Maybe you’ve read the above and can see you have some transferable skills, even though they don’t quite match all the points. If you think you can bring something to the team, we still encourage you to apply.
